Delhi | Congress leader Pawan Khera has asserted that the upcoming elections in the national capital will see a direct contest between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Speaking about the public sentiment, Khera said, “The people have made up their minds to take revenge for the betrayal of the last 10 years. The entire city is ready for change. Our fight is solely with AAP, and there is no other player in this battle. We are confident of securing at least five seats more than the majority required to form the government.”
Addressing the INDIA alliance, Khera clarified, “The INDIA alliance is a strategic national coalition for the Lok Sabha elections. However, the political dynamics vary from state to state. In states where our local units believe it is appropriate, we will contest the elections independently.”
