Serge Ferrari Group is pleased to announce the establishment of a new joint venture, ‘Biomembrane Systems India Private Limited.’

Serge Ferrari Group, in collaboration with Agastya Invention Private Limited, has officially launched a joint venture named ‘Biomembrane Systems India Private Limited.’ This specialized company aims to provide efficient containment solutions for biogas storage in the Indian market.

The joint venture benefits from the technical expertise of Serge Ferrari Group’s subsidiary, DBDS – Deutsche Biogas Dach-Systeme GmbH, based in Germany. DBDS has over a decade of international experience in biogas roofing and storage solutions.

Agastya Invention specializes in developing flexible containment solutions, while DBDS is known for developing, manufacturing, and installing digester roofs and external gas storage solutions. Serge Ferrari Group offers a wide range of technical membranes and fabrics for various environmental and energy applications.

Biomembrane Systems India Private Limited’s primary goal is to make smart biogas storage solutions more accessible and affordable in the Indian market. Bhargav Vadia will serve as the General Manager of this new venture.

The company will leverage its expertise in designing, producing, and installing biogas project coverings. Their product portfolio includes Double Membrane Digester Balloons, Ground Mounted Standalone Gas Storage Balloons, and Single Membrane Storage Balloons. Each project is tailored to meet specific requirements and is designed to withstand local environmental factors such as wind and rain.

Customization plays a crucial role in enhancing the longevity and durability of membrane solutions, ensuring structural stability and minimal gas permeability.

Nitin Govila, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and Sr. VP: Asia Pacific + MEA at Serge Ferrari Group, emphasized the importance of bringing biogas roofing and storage solutions to the growing Indian biogas market. He believes that, with the right implementation partner, they can offer smart and sustainable gas storage solutions.
