A Meeting of Kashmiri Displaced People Wing DPAP was held today by its President Shri Sanjay Dhar under Chairmanship of Shri Piaray Lal Pandita wherein Daizy Dhar President Mahila Wing, General Secretary Raj Kumar Ticku, Youth President Naveen Gosani,Sheekha Koul Women’s Youth President including other members ,and a joint demand stands made to the Hon’ble Leut Governor,Worthy Chief Secretay that the youth of Displaced Kashmiri People either low qualified due to lack of financial resources or over aged youth may kindly be appointed in Police Department on the basis of special open BURTHY pattern adopted in past for displaced people and Boarder people recently,with special relaxations of norms,so that a depression, frustrations and diversion of idleness towards drug addiction is avoided for betterment of the Displaced Society. Naveen Gosani,President Youth Wing KDPW discussed in detail the problems being faced by the youth being unemployed having no any sources or any employment avenues created till date by the Govt.
The meeting discussed in the detail the situation crept due to unemployment among youth of the community risen on large scale especially for low educated and high educated youth (gone overaged),which has lead the society youth towards various bad evils,and is only solution to engage them in employment.
The meeting was told that this matter stands highlighted through Chain of Memorandums before the Govt.through Worthy Chief Secretary latest during second week of July at Srinagar.Moreover the meeting requested the Govt.to complete the already PM Package announced employment to the extent of 6000 especially an approved list of 120 candidates of MTS,is pending for issuance of formal orders from Revenue Secretariat since last four months,which is requested to be issued at an earliest.
The President and Chairman made a joint appeal to the Govt.that the PM Package employees may be merged at par with UT Govt.employees,so as their dependence of salary on Central Govt.funds is cleared once for all and these employees may work with more zeal and zest.The Chairman stressed on the members of KDPW of DPAP to work hard for upliftment of the Displaced Kashmiri Community people.
