The Government on Thursday informed that 505 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19)have been reported today; 277 from Jammu division and 228 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 458456.
Moreover, 152 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 97fromJammu division and 55 from Kashmir division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 458456 positive cases, 2077 are Active Positive (1176in Jammu Division and 901 in Kashmir Division), 451618 have recovered and 4761 have died; 2336 in Jammu division and 2425 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 25988112 test results available, 458456samples have tested positive and 25529656 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 14,571COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6598591 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 328 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2077in isolation and 434 in home surveillance. Besides, 6590991 persons have completed their surveillance period.
